Koperasi Keluarga Al Mahmud (Kopkalam) diresmikan di Perum Balananjeur, Desa Sukamantri, Kecamatan Ciawi, Tasikmalaya, Jawa Barat. Peresmian ini dihadiri oleh Wakil Menteri Pertanian, Harvick Hasnul Qolbi, yang menyampaikan apresiasinya terhadap upaya pendirian koperasi berbasis korporasi seperti yang dicanangkan oleh Presiden Joko Widodo.
Harvick berharap, keberadaan Koperasi Kalam mampu mempercepat program pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat petani kopi di Tasikmalaya, khususnya melalui perbaikan kualitas hasil olahan biji kopi yang berorientasi pada ekspor. Kehadiran koperasi ini diharapkan dapat membawa merek kopi asal Tasikmalaya lebih mendunia lagi.
